Beyond logistics and services, the country is home to manufacturers, agricultural producers, designers, food brands, and export-ready businesses competing in regional and international markets.
Yet most Panamanian products faced the same invisible barrier:
Strong quality
Weak perception
No shared narrative
“Made in Panama” existed as a phrase — not as a trusted signal.
The challenge was not creating another patriotic seal.
It was credibility.
A national-origin mark only works if:
It signals quality, not geography alone
It is flexible across industries
It is governed, not improvised
It adds commercial value to the brands that use it
Without structure, origin branding becomes decoration.
Country-of-origin brands succeed when they behave like platforms, not slogans.
We anchored the project on one insight:
A national brand must elevate every product that carries it — without overpowering it.
That required thinking beyond identity into rules, systems, and adoption logic.
We designed MADE IN PANAMA as a modular brand system, not a fixed mark.
The system was built to: Coexist with existing brand identities. Adapt across industries (food, manufacturing, design, exports). Signal trust, traceability, and legitimacy
